What is your job role?
Practice Manager
What led you to this career?
I was made redundant after being in the same job for 15 years. I was devastated at the time and when someone made the cliche ‘some things happen for a reason’ comment I thought they were nuts. But it is so true …. I wouldn’t be with J K otherwise and I enjoy it so much more than I have any of my other jobs ?
What does a day as a J K Girl look like for you?
I learned very quickly that no two days are the same! It can be chaotic and really busy but it’s such a positive and friendly environment to work in and we all just take it in our stride.
How do you prefer to start your day?
I am an early bird and I generally start work nice and early with a large strong coffee! I love a to-do list and that’s usually the first thing I do each morning.
What’s something you saw recently that made you smile?
A smile is the prettiest thing you can wear so I always try to smile no matter what. And my kids give me a reason to smile every day in life.
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
That’s the easiest question of them all. Wine ?
